As you may already know, we have had our Harvest Host membership for over 3 years. We use it very often and we can't say enough good things about it.
Harvest Hosts is a membership program that allows RVers to stay overnight at over 2,000 wineries, breweries, farms, and other unique locations across the United States and Canada, including golf courses.
In exchange for a suggested donation of $25 per night, members can enjoy free overnight parking, access to amenities, and the opportunity to meet interesting people and learn about local businesses. we particularly like the breweries and Wineries locations. They tend to be quieter and as we are accustomed to an adult beverage or two every now and then, this is a great way to taste some local creations without having to get an uber. You can literally walk from the building to your own bed without any hassle at all (Unless its raining really heavy!)
Here are 10 reasons why you should join Harvest Hosts in 2023:
10 - Save money on camping fees. One of the biggest benefits of joining Harvest Hosts is the ability to save money on camping fees. The suggested donation of $25 per night is much lower than the cost of staying at a traditional campground.
9 - Explore unique locations. Harvest Hosts members have the opportunity to explore unique and off-the-beaten-path locations that they would not otherwise have access to. From wineries and breweries to farms and museums, there is something for everyone on Harvest Hosts.
8 - Meet interesting people. One of the best things about Harvest Hosts is the opportunity to meet interesting people from all walks of life. You'll have the chance to chat with the owners of the businesses you stay at, as well as other RVers who are also members of the program.
7 - Support local businesses. By staying at Harvest Hosts locations, you're supporting local businesses. This is a great way to give back to the communities you visit and help to keep them vibrant.
6 - Learn about local history and culture. Many of the Harvest Hosts locations have a rich history and culture that you can learn about. You'll have the chance to visit historical sites, learn about local customs, and taste local foods.
5 - Enjoy the outdoors. Many of the Harvest Hosts locations are located in beautiful settings. You'll have the chance to hike, bike, fish, and enjoy the great outdoors.
Many places allow you to grill, your awning and all the luxuries that RVing gets you. Theres nothing like making dinner with the sunsetting in the middle of a vineyard
4 - Get away from the crowds. Harvest Hosts locations are often located in less popular areas. This means that you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the outdoors without having to deal with the crowds.
3 - Be more self-sufficient. Because you're not staying at a traditional campground, you'll need to be more self-sufficient. This means packing your own food and water, and disposing of your own waste. However, this can also be a great way to learn new skills and become more independent.
2 - Have more flexibility. Harvest Hosts locations are typically open year-round, so you can stay there whenever you want. This gives you the flexibility to plan your trips according to your own schedule.
1 - Have fun! Harvest Hosts is a great way to have fun and explore the United States and Canada. You'll meet new people, learn new things, and enjoy the outdoors.
If you're looking for a unique and affordable way to travel, we encourage you to join Harvest Hosts in 2023. It's a great way to save money, explore new places, and meet interesting people.
